Father's Four Basic Principles

It's Father's Day so I will share something I've learned today. Four Principles to raise your children. Principle no.1 Physical Affection So he got up and went to his father. "But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." Luke 15:20 Principle no.2 Verbal Affirmation "Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." Proverbs 16:24 Principle no.3 Emotional Connection "All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them, giving each the blessing appropriate to him." Genesis 49:28 Principle no.4 Personal Reconciliation The most powerful seven words any Dad can say to his children are: "I am sorry would you please forgive me."

1 Timothy 3:16

Luke 5:1-7
